When using two USB devices, there's nothing we could do, to get a fixed ordering for those two different connected USB devices, by /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf. There might be a way to solve this issue, but I've got no time to help you with this and perhaps this issue can't be solved. There are two possible pitfalls for real-time audio usage, irq/18-firewire shares the IRQ with USB, consider to unload the firewire module, if you shouldn't need it. Avoid to use the USB port that shares the IRQ with irq/21-nvkm. >From /etc/default/rtirq RTIRQ_NAME_LIST="snd usb i8042" you should remove i8042, you also could remove snd, but for your setup it doesn't matter if you keep or remove snd. i8042 gives real-time priority to PS/2 keyboards and mice, even if you should use a PS/2 keyboard and/or mouse, usually there's no need to give it real-time priority.
