http://linux.die.net/man/1/pidgin Run it in a terminal. pidgin --force-online --config=~/.purple.test Take a look at the log files in ~/.purple/logs and take a look at ~/.xsession-errors. Note, I don't have knowledge about this program, nor is it installed on my machine, I searched the web for man pidgin and got the man page. If something doesn't work, it's always useful to run the command in a terminal-emulation, if available in verbose mode. Always check --help or man pages. Take a look at ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log etc.. -- ubuntu-studio-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users
