Each kernel comes with such a huge list of fixes, that it's hard to make
any conclusion from them, at least for me.
Do you only get xruns at low latencies?
Changing settings from 64 frames per period to 128 reduced, but didn't
eliminate the xruns, while 512 seemingly did (still tested "idle", no
audio playing or recording).
I guess it might be interesting to know that also on the Kernel Linux
3.5.0-31-lowlatency, JACK simply crashes on start if I try too small
latency. Working from 64/48k/3 upwards (latency 4 ms), just crashing on
start with anything less.
Now I just need to get an external drive of some size so I can play more
safely with 13.04.
