Hi there,
a bit out of topic of your email, but I would like to share that I bought
recently it's smaller brother, the Scarlett 2i4, tried it on ubuntu studio
12.10 and it works out of the box. Jack recognizes it immediately. However, as
I am not experienced linux user, I cannot really provide feedback on the number
of input/outputs that Jack recognized, I just plug my guitar into it and works
great.

The Lexicon Lambda is working fine .. your DAW will prob point to origins and
targets in jack
