Marked as Incomplete. I could not find a specific reason for the failure to happen, although that dreaded "Server upgrade" timeout might be the cause. I requested more info from the reporter... Some minutes later, the reporter replied. The journalctl strangely doesn't show an entry with a similar date as the one I see on the MySQL error log. I offered a "workaround" for the reporter, which is to apt-get install mysql-server again, which usually completes the installation.
