I was greeted with 33 bugs to check, but only about 7 really needed attention or help. The rest was on its way to be resolved or just recently triaged by other team members.
It seems more and more people upgrade to 20.04 but with that comes the steady flow of mysql issues mostly due to misconfigurations. I've seen in Parides recent report that it was showing up a lot in mine as well. Worth to mention in more detail are: An apache2 install bug that seemed to be an odd config problem (incomplete now) made me realize on retry that bug 1865218 might still be partially with us. I've filed a bug about what I was seeing in bug 1890263 and subscribed Bryce who was working on the former incarnation of it. Furthermore https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-8.0/+bug/1889851 seems to be a legit upgrade issue in mysql. Triggered by the new 8.0.21-0ubuntu0.20.04.3 that was meant to be mostly CVE updates. I subscribed the team but also mdeslaur who was driving the CVE fixes. -- Christian Ehrhardt Staff Engineer, Ubuntu Server Canonical Ltd
