Just to make a note, this is on my radar to be updated in Gorilla. SRU for this needs analyzed to see if there's any 'new features' that need additional scrutiny. This said, I'm working on some major packaging shifts to make the configuration more pluggable and to split out some bits into separate configuration files (similar to how Dovecot splits out core configuration bits). This will effectively make us extremely diverged from Debian, but I haven't seen much movement on their front lately. I'm going to open a separate discussion on those proposed changes and updates to the nginx packaging and layout of conf.d inclusions later. I'm not ready to share my prototype yet, but I had preliminarily discussed this with Seth Arnold and he thought it was a good idea to make things more 'pluggable' from a config perspective and to split some config bits out into conf.d inclusions.
