Tomado del manual : "enumprinters [level] Execute an EnumPrinters() call. This lists the various installed and share printers. Refer to the MS Platform SDK documentation for more details of the various flags and calling options. Currently supported info levels are 1, 2 and 5." "setprintername <printername> <newprintername> Set printer name" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bad English Sorry for the bad explanation in comment #21 Well, in my samba configuration the group lpadmin is printer manager, my lpadmin user belongs to, so it worked for me without being root user (optional add "printer admin = @lpadmin" in smb.conf without the quotes), the root user is always default printer manager. For a better explanation of the rpcclient command and its use can always consult the man command. Taken from the manual: "enumprinters [level] Execute an EnumPrinters() call. This lists the various installed and share printers. Refer to the MS Platform SDK documentation for more details of the various flags and calling options.
