Hi James, Wow, such a nice hack you got running here :)
The problem as I can see it is that you have a wrong version of readlink installed, php5-cli postinst depends on the right version of readlink in place which is not the case happening in your install. Please reinstall coreutils to get the right version of readlink, then run 'apt-get -f install' to let all the packages finish its configuration. Marked as 'Invalid' since this is a support request and not a packaging or distribution bug. ** Changed in: php5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1017003 Title: package php5-cli 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1017003/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
