Hi Dagaroth, Thank you very much for your report!
This can be caused by an invalid main.cvd file or one that is broken in half after an unsuccessful update. Your best course of action is to delete the database definitions at /var/lib/clamav and run freshclam so it refreshes all the files again. Hope this solves your problem! ** Changed in: clamav (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to clamav in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1015405 Title: ClamAV error: CL_EFORMAT: Bad format or broken data To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clamav/+bug/1015405/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
