@Bert: Can you provide more information about the conflict with djbdns? The dnscache-run package, one of the binary packages built from djbdns source, is marked as Conflicting with resolvconf because it messes directly with /etc/resolv.conf --- see Debian bug report #582755. Its maintainers haven't addressed this problem for several years, so from the Ubuntu perspective we have to regard dnscache-run as a rough package for do-it-youselfers and not something we need to worry much about here (#959037).
Are there other parts of djbdns we need to look at? ** Also affects: pdns-recursor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: pdns-recursor (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dnsmasq in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/959037 Title: NM-controlled dnsmasq prevents other DNS servers from starting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/djbdns/+bug/959037/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
