Somethings stopping winbind starting up correctly.
Please could you attach any log files from /var/log/samba to this bug
report and check that /etc/samba/smb.conf is present and has the
following permissions:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12464 May 2 10:27 /etc/samba/smb.conf
This may be a duplicate of bug 981121 - lets see if it is!
