We implemented exactly the feature set required for that. There could easily be important omissions. * Unlike most of the rest of OVS, we don't test it here at Nicira anymore, because we don't need it anymore for XenServer support. * We're working to upstream the OVS kernel module but there's no way that the brcompatd module would ever get accepted upstream. * Using OVS advanced features requires using ovs-vsctl instead of brctl anyway (and if you don't want to use OVS advanced features why bother switching from the bridge?).
