Thanks for taking the time to submit this bug. Googling shows several others have run into this, so it definately appears to be a real bug, somewhere.
Did you have senmdail previously installed and then delete it? Do you recall whether you removed it with 'apt-get remove' or 'apt-get purge'? The file /etc/resolvconf/update-libc.d/sendmail is installed by sendmail's debian/Makefile. I should still expect it to be removed upon uninstallation. This bug should likely be re-targeted to sendmail. For now I'm marking Incomplete awaiting your response. ** Changed in: bind9 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to bind9 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792339 Title: package bind9 1:9.7.3.dfsg-1ubuntu2.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bind9/+bug/792339/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
