Hi Alex, thanks for the bug report, and sorry that it has taken a few days to get to this. Please do not report the same issue twice. I've marked the other one as a duplicate of this.
Unfortunately it seems that squid doesn't have dbg or dbgsym packages available, so its very hard to debug this crash. You would need to rebuild the source package with "DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip debuild" and install it, then wait for the crash again. If you need any help doing that, I'm happy to provide assistance. The steps would be: apt-get source squid gdebi-core gdebi squid_2.7.STABLE9-2.1ubuntu6.dsc # this installs the build-dependencies cd squid-2.7.STABLE9 DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip debuild binary Then install the resulting debs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to squid in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/788059 Title: squid crashed with SIGABRT in __kernel_vsyscall() -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
