During beta-2 testing of ec2 images one instance failed to execute cloud-init See http://jenkins.qa.ubuntu-uk.org/view/natty- ec2/job/natty_server_ec2/9/ARCH=i386,REGION=eu-west-1,STORAGE=instance- store,TEST=simple-user-data,label=ubuntu-server-ec2-testing/ It looks like it hung after running apt-get update; the final steps in the cloud-config where never executed.
