Marking Confirmed based on the linked bug reports. However, the linked reports contradict each other. http://bugs.ntp.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1134 suggests a simple workaround in userspace. The redhat bug (and poster above) suggests there is a kernel bug. So I've marked this as also affecting kernel - please mark that invalid if appropriate.
