Creating generic self-signed certificate: /etc/ssl/certs/dovecot.pem (replace with hand-crafted or authorized one if needed). hostname: Name or service not known dpkg: error processing dovecot-common (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: dovecot-common I have no clue on how to tell the system where hostname resides.
