While this bug is closed, I can add the following info: I did remove the entire directory of /etc/bind because I was trying to remove a bad installation and install a new one. I thought installing the bind9 package would recreate those files with the default values. I guess not. I thought it would since it seems to own those files. Perhaps the install routine should create those?
Thanks, Todd -- package bind9 1:9.5.1.dfsg.P2-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to bind9 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
