Okay so the 3 SRUs are uploaded waiting to be approved. I have also proposed a merge request in salsa:
https://salsa.debian.org/linux-blocks-team/open-iscsi/-/merge_requests/4 refactoring a bit the package itself and solving the openssl linking issue the upstream maintainer has observed. Haven't yet decided if Ubuntu will keep the CHAP auth algs support from openssl or not (pending ubuntu-devel@ mailing list discussion thread).
