I realize that the system can boot normally if samba is completely removed from the system

(or something similar) - At fist I believe the problem was samba so I uninstall it (using ALT-F2 - i was able get access to a terminal), I reboot and get this message (and - the system hangs) + Removing samba fix the problem. - Running DKMS autoinstallation service for kernel 2.6.31.6-generic [OK] - Starting Winbid demon.
