Do you have a chance to replace this in /lib/systemd/system/systemd-
update-utmp-runlevel.service:
ExecStart=/usr/bin/strace -fvvs1024 -o /run/update-utmp.trace
/lib/systemd/systemd-update-utmp runlevel
and add this line
Environment=SYSTEMD_LOG_LEVEL=debug
? Then please boot and attach the journal again.
