Public bug reported: I use dnsmasq mainly as a TFTP/DHCP combination and disable the part of the dns-resolver.
So i use <code>port=0</code> to disable the DNS part. But the init- script always rewrites the resolv.conf, no matter if DNS is actually used. Could you add an option to the defaults-file, which the init-script checks and dependent on this, rewrites the config-file? ** Affects: dnsmasq (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dnsmasq in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1485316 Title: dnsmasq breaks DNS, if not used as DNS server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/1485316/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
