Public bug reported: Binary package hint: php5 Ubuntu Server 9.04 PHP 5.2.6-3ubuntu4.1
I have enabled error logging in apache2/php.ini and cli/php.ini to log all errors to /var/log/apache2/php_err.log. I have created that file chown root.adm and chmod 666. The cli works fine and logs the errors to that file. Running it through apache (any web script that has a typo) results in errors going to the apache error.log and not the php_err.log file. I have restarted apache and played with permissions and it's not working. ** Affects: php5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: php5 + Ubuntu Server 9.04 + PHP 5.2.6-3ubuntu4.1 I have enabled error logging in apache2/php.ini and cli/php.ini to log all errors to /var/log/apache2/php_err.log.
