Ok, I copied my 'GDI-Printer' and called it 'lp'. Then I deleted the old one and set 'lp' to default. After printing two single pages from firefox I thought it worked, but the third page from a pdf-file failed with 'Too many failed attempts.'
So: The "Do not know why it works"-copy-workaround is not solving the problem!
