I've recently crawled back out from under my rock and discovered that
the issue has been solved for me!

I was experiencing the exact same problems with my Iomega Home Network
Hard Drive (MDHD500-N, firmware K1.08 L1.0 W1.5) and Ubuntu Gutsy or/and
Intrepid.

After having upgraded to Jaunty (final) the issue is solved. I can mount
and browse the shares on the network disk using Nautilus without any
problems.

Cheers!
