Is the 'working virtio-scsi driver' which was provided a kernel driver, or is it a qemu patch? If qemu patch, can you point to which one? If it is a kernel issue, then this bug should be re-targeted to 'linux'.
For now I am re-targetting this bug to qemu. (qemu-kvm is the source package based on the qemu-kvm upstream, which is not used in 14.04 or 14.10) ** Package changed: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) => qemu (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1342000 Title: UBUNTU14.10-LE:liz:Ubuntu installation failing on virtio-scsi disk with disk image type raw To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1342000/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
