I receive an intermittent error using iostat -k 5 : "Cannot open
/proc/stat: Cannot allocate memory"
This can also be simply reproduced by entering: "cat /proc/stat", one to
several (~5-10) times.

Is there a possible memory, or kernel memory sysctl configurable I'm missing
here?
