Public bug reported: Binary package hint: php5
I am unable to remove the Suhosin patch from PHP without manual intervention as documented on this blog: http://ambitonline.com/nextrelease/archives/113-How-to-Ubuntu-PHP-Remove-Suhosin.html I can get my head around why it is installed by default, but not the reasons why it doesn't use the provided package to do it so people can remove it if they need to. This is a serious flaw in the package management. ** Affects: php5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Unable to remove Suhosin patch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315507 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
