Dear guys and gals, I'm back as a release manager for ubuntu-GNOME. I've been quietly a release manager for lubuntu since I departed and may become official again - I let things run away, as such, I've taken a break and when the rage flared up again it showed to me the need to rail it in else I would lose all I care about. I'm not going to say it has been easy, but my promise[1] made to CC and SABDFL himself means that I will keep it.
For any on this team I have offended, I offer my humble apologies to. For all those I have not yet offended, please join a queue and I'm sure I'll get you :) Joking and jesting aside, release management, testing, herding testers, sorting bugs out, documentation etc. *AND* making sure each release works are about the most challenging tasks that people can embark upon. Please feel free to tell me to climb down off the ceiling if I'm getting stressed, in return I also make a good person to have a chat and laugh with. The Ubuntu family is awesome and I'm beyond happy to be able to officially help out again. Yours Sincerely, Phill. 1. http://phillw.net/apology.txt
