Nicholas Skaggs:
Do you know an area of ubuntu that could use some love?

We need a calendar application that is good enough for serious organization.

The closest one is California, but is buggy as hell. There is also the Thunderbird Lightning extension, but the interface is slow due to the dated architecture of the software.

Other thing that could be interesting is to cut down the complexities of aMule and make a simpler P2P application, what will allow to search mostly anything in an easy way. Also it will be short to develop, as is mostly about figuring out what to remove.

In this latest case perhaps I could be a good mentor, as I have written parts of the official eMule documentation myself.

On the other hand, even when I'm skilled in programming, I have never developed a serious software myself. So probably at some point it would be good to have some help.
