- Did you installed Battle for Wesnoth from the Ubuntu Software Center
or from somewhere else?
- Does the problem get fixed if, in the "Terminal" application, you
enter the following line?:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wesnoth -y && sudo apt-get
purge wesnoth -y && sudo apt-get autoremove -y
