I'd wanted to let testers of Trusty (Ubuntu 14.04) know that I've enabled kerneloops for that release after making some changes to the Ubuntu Error Tracker to support those types of crashes. You can help submit error reports about the kernel by installing the kerneloops package and then choosing to report any OOPSes that you encounter. Its best to install this on real hardware.
