Since you know python, you might want to take a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Roles/Developer , since the desktop
autopilot tests and testdrive, are written in python. If you'd like to help
with games outside of steam, https://wiki.debian.org/Games/Development has
most of the info you'll need.
