ATI card only? on 12.10 I'm noticing display crashes running either on x.org or fglrx. on x.org you can get the crash by running a youtube video in fullscreen in firefox. crashes after 5-10 minutes, easy to reproduce in firefox.
with fglrx, the crash is much harder to reproduce. It takes hours, but you can reproduce it with fullscreen video. but there's an easy to test bug in fglrx. It's some kind of blit bug. Just install and run xaos (from the repos) and you will see screen corruption.
