So our first off week of the 2 week cadence cycle has passed. I'd like
to publish the results of our efforts and talk about how much coverage
we achieved. We had 11 folks help test, which was great. A big thank you
to the following people:

On the coverage aspect, we covered all of the mandatory Ubuntu Desktop
testcases for amd64 and i386, including wubi (thanks!). However, we
didn't get any coverage for Server or amd64+mac. Additionally, some of
the testcases were only reported by one user. It's safe to say we could
use a few more hands in here confirming the results of these fine folks!
If you are able, plan to test next week again for Milestone 3;
especially if you have mac hardware or can help with wubi or server
testing :-).
So, in a next week we will have our milestone testing again for Alpha 3.
It's imperative that we meet our mandatory testcases for each of these 2
week cadences. We're halfway through the cycle now, and we want to keep
the pace going all the way through. I know the new cadence of every 2
weeks is a bit different than we're all used to, so I applaud everyone's
efforts last week for helping to keep the pace. They can't do it alone!

If you find something broken, as always please report the failure
result and add the bug from launchpad. If you take a look at
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/reports/defects, you'll notice 58
bugs have been reported this way! Excellent work! If we look at the
entire list, we've got 152 bugs reported via the isotracker already
this cycle. That represents something like ~1.5 bugs a day.

I can highly recommend zsync and, if your testing must occur in a VM,
testdrive. Zsync makes it easy to keep your isos up-to-date without
having to re-download them.
