For me this sounds like interacting with the display resulted in erratic behaviour. I also experienced this, not only with my BQ E4.5 but also with my ASUS ZenPad (using Android), when they where connected to certain chargers. Unplugging the devices or using a pen with the right tip solved the problem for me. As always, YMMV...
