Hi, I also have same problem with my Nexus4. It started when I updated to OTA14 and happens also with OTA15. I use stable/bq-aquaris.en channel.
In my case crash happens when I try to shutdown program/-s from app switcher. Usually I have gmail, browser (~8tabs), dialer and messaging apps open in backround. When the crash happen, ubuntu "ooooo" screen comes and sometimes it boots up normally but sometimes it stucks and I have to hardreset with powerbutton. My workaround have been that I don't use app switcher at all, I switch/kill apps from left app panel.. -sami torstai 16. helmikuuta 2017 Pat McGowan <pat.mcgo...@canonical.com> kirjoitti: > I would suggest entering a bug for this in launchpad so we can collect more information from those who are affected. Its not generally reproducible, and as OTA15 updated just the browser app and oxide, not sure how it is linked. It would be interesting to know which apps are in use, especially if the browser with a lot of tabs or webapps are open. Although note that even though a number of apps are "open" the system does suspend the apps in the background and return the memory. > As a last resort you could use ubuntu-device-flash to reflash the phone, and try it without wiping data. > Pat > > On Tue, Feb 14, 2017 at 7:01 AM, Konrad Hofer <koho...@gmail.com> wrote: >> >> Hi, >> >> how can I revert back to OTA-14 without wiping everything? >> Every time I get an SMS Unity crashes and gets into a loop! >> >> thanks a lot. >> >> konrad >> >> >> On 09/02/17 11:56, Andrea Simonetti wrote: >> > I noticed the same behavior on my E5 ...
