I don't know what is the diference between a crash of utity and a reboot. From the time I made a hard reset I haven't put it in writeable mode. The window is coloured brown, It appears something (a circle but I don't remember what it said). The window is not black nor white. If you need more information please tell me. Thanks, Cesar
