Yep. I have set it for:

$ gsettings get com.canonical.qtmir lifecycle-exempt-appids
['com.ubuntu.music', 'com.ubuntu.terminal', 'webbrowser-app', 
'dekko.dekkoproject', 'mediaplayer-app']

and it works fine.
