Hello everyone! Sorry to worry you with the lack of update e-mails this week! I
got swarmed with work on various fronts (also regarding OTA-14) so I really
just couldn't find the time to write up the usual daily summary posts. Today I
actually allocated some cycles to get everyone up-to-date on the current
situation. Let's start off with OTA-14. It's 'in progress': today is the
deadline for submitting fixes for issues from the 14 milestone [1] and tomorrow
we should be spinning our first candidate images. It's a bit more tricky this
time as we don't want to pull in all the changes from rc-proposed as we did
usually. Cherry-picking selected releases and rebuilds is non-trivial and takes
a bit more time to coordinate. Things might slide as we're still waiting for a
satisfactory oxide-qt 1.18. In the meantime since the start of this week we had
only a few landings, mostly with non-user-visible changes. One that might be
interesting to some is a new indicator-datetime with a fix for the special-case
bug of the alarm only ringing when the screen is on. This one will, of course,
go to OTA-14 as well. Cheers! [1]
