I agree, this is the one thing that completely kills the usability of my phone. You just can't rely on it.

A few minutes ago, my phone died *again* for no apparent reason. I've just plugged it in the wall, and the battery charging animation says "56%". My phone died thinking it had 56% battery left! Not exactly the bug mentioned in this thread, but a known one with a similar "history".

Unfortunately, like other people on the list, I'm not a developer, only an enthusiast. And the different bug reports I saw on the matter seemed to have plenty of logs provided by various users, so I'm not sure how I can be of any help beyond that.

Let's hope something is planned for the next OTA!
