Hello everyone, Another day full of landings. Started off with buteo-sync's new upstream release, then a fix in indicator-network for disabled data switch if no SIM is selected, an ubuntu-system-settings minor-release (test fixes mostly), a big landing of ubuntu-app-launch (OOM adjust mostly, but also other fixes) + ABI rebuilds of related packages, a fix for correctly rotating the shell when dismissing the SIM PIN screen in unity8, a new messaging-app (adding the display of current character count + messages-to-be-sent count and bugfixes) and others.
The current landing deadline for OTA-13 is this Friday. We might make an exception for the copy-paste which is still in-progress (with some additional changes required in qtmir) and land it next week, but we plan to forward our first candidate image to QA on Monday. If all goes well (always remember things may shift if regressions are found) the release should happen around the 14th of September.
