Hello everyone! Not too many user-visible landings today, with the rather noticeable being only a new unity8 with a lot of greeter changes and bugfixes (also fixing one annoyance where indicators and launcher didn't hide in the greeter after power button press). There also was a new qtmir release but that only had packaging changes to enable qtmir-android arm64 builds for xenial+ (the future).
The recently landed repowerd package in rc-proposed might get soft-reverted tomorrow. The main reason is that it causes various issues in automated testing, both functional and from the autopkgtest point of view - which blocks some unity8 related landings to proceed. We will try to re-land it once those issues are resolved. As for OTA-12 everything seems to proceed as planned. We might need a turbo custom tarball re-spin still for some final design tweaks but besides that no other changes are planned.
