I am happy to have the same experience with unav as Sam has.
unav works brilliantly on my bq 4.5. I'm located in Austria.

If this is the case it narrows down to either the reliability of the UK
3G network or an issue with my handset. I do keep meaning to try using
unav on my tablet using my phone as a hotspot. I'll give that a go next
chance I get and see what happens.
