That should work in the stock web browser (if it doesn’t it’s a bug, please file one). I assume you’re seeing this in firefox, right? I don’t know whether that would work for legacy apps running in a container under XMir, but I think firefox needs to learn about the powerd D-Bus API to inhibit screen blanking. > 3.
