when goint to Seetings -> Updates i see first: "checking for updates..." and then a progress-bar for downloading the Ubuntu update. the progressbar does not show any progress, but at finally disappears giving me the "Install and reboot" option.
i guess the update is already downloaded and used. where is the update-data? can i remove it? maybe it works when i get a fresh download? in which log file would i see some indication for the update problem? thanks io Am 13/04/16 um 09:08 schrieb Ingo Randolf: > the upgrade via commandline did not help. > > here a pastebin with the commandline output: > http://pastebin.com/0LbKubxf > > similar behaviour: > - download things > - reboot with progressbar (updating?) > - 2nd reboot (this did not happen before) > - system shows version OTA9.1 > - Update option in "Updates" > > is there a log-file to see what went wrong with the update? > > thx > io > > Am 12/04/16 um 23:48 schrieb Pat McGowan: >> Not clear why its not working from the settings UI but go ahead and >> do the update via command line >> sudo system-image-cli -v >> >> On Tue, Apr 12, 2016 at 2:32 PM, Ingo Randolf <ingo.rand...@servus.at >> <mailto:ingo.rand...@servus.at>> wrote: >> >> excactly. after i do an update (rebooot and progress-bar...) i >> see OTA-9.1 in the "About" screen and get the update option in >> "Updates" >> >>> What is the output of >>> adb shell system-image-cli --info >> $ adb shell system-image-cli --info >> current build number: 30 >> device name: krillin >> channel: ubuntu-touch/stable/bq-aquaris.en >> last update: 2016-02-24 22:03:42 >> version version: 30 >> version ubuntu: 20160217.1 >> version tag: OTA-9.1 >> version device: 20160108-efc96d8 >> version custom: 20160111-926-36--vivid >> >>> and >>> sudo system-image-cli -n >>> will show the update path >> >> $ sudo system-image-cli -n >> Upgrade path is 31:32 >> Target phase: 12% >> >> ingo >> >>> >>> On Tue, Apr 12, 2016 at 1:11 AM, Ingo Randolf >>> <ingo.rand...@servus.at> wrote: >>> >>> hi. >>> >>> tried to install OTA-10 on a bq aquaris E4.5 several times now. >>> with and wihtout reboot before the update. >>> >>> no success so far. >>> i got the new color-sceme and style, but the systems still >>> is on OTA-9.1 >>> >>> what can i do to resolve the problem? >>> >>> thanks >>> ingo >>> >> >> > > >
