Hello everyone, OTA-10 preparation continues. Due to the number of new devices we need to support all hands were busy with work on OTA-10, so no landings for the next milestone have landed in the overlay so far. This allows us to continue using rc-proposed for re-building our candidate images.
Today we did another re-spin with the few recently landed fixes: a fix to location-service to not fill the disk with logging (log-rotate), a small performance-boost fix to ubuntu-ui-toolkit and a revert of a change in unity-scope-click to eliminate some annoying crashes. We also did a manual run of langpack-o-matic with newest translation exports to get as many new translated strings as possible. The new Unity8 OOBE strings are still not completely translated for all languages, but at least it's better than having nothing - especially that these parts are only visible on freshly flashed phones. That being said, we would appreciate translators to take a look at the Unity8 strings in ubuntu-rtm/15.04 [1]. Thanks! QA still has multiple devices to test before we can get a final +1 - so we wait. We still have a few device tarballs with final tweaks scheduled for landing.
