[Ubuntu-phone] App security

In which way can I check security on a app, I've installed eyrie which 
takes music snippets through the phone mic and uploads the snippet and 
idenifies, currently up comes back with nothing so I figured the mic isn't 
enabled on the app?
How do I find out if it is 
How do I enable mic access to eyrie
