Can anyone suggest a fix/work-around?
Thanks,

On a Nexus 7, my observation was that if apt-get is stuck, I can issue a
sudo service bluetooth stop
from another terminal and that will allow the apt-get upgrade to
continue. The service command doesn't terminate, but can be killed.
